We have a unique opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced team on a 12 month fixed term contract. As a Veterinary Surgeon at Bridge Vets your day-to-day duties will be a mix of consultations and surgery, and you will receive fantastic support from an experienced team including certificate holders. We actively encourage our team to advance their abilities and careers and are willing to offer support if you want to work towards a certificate.
Rota pattern to suit your lifestyle - 4-day week. We offer an excellent work-life balance for our team and can work out a flexible shift pattern that suits you and your lifestyle. Typically, the full-time position is 36 hours per week over 4 days with shifts between 8:30am and 7pm, Monday to Friday. There are 1:7 Saturday mornings 8:30am - 12pm with no OOH. We would also welcome part time applicants.
Established for over 40 years, we are an ISFM Silver cat friendly clinic, RCVS PSS GP practice and a nurse training centre. We take pride in our loyal client base. We have the best of both worlds, with easy access to Cardiff, Bristol, Newport and the Countryside such as the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Our biggest selling point would be the support available from our team. Our supportive team consists of many talented Vets, 6 RVNs, supporting team members, led by our Practice Manager and 3 Clinical Directors. We encourage the discussion of cases between colleagues and our Clinical Directors are available to offer support. We also have plenty of social events to get involved with including our book club.
The role is suitable for a new graduate or a more experienced veterinary surgeon who will be given the opportunity to further their career through a wide range of clinical and surgical cases and opportunities. We have very experienced and supportive vets who are always willing to help and discuss cases.
