Role Overview
The role of the Deputy Manager is to assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the service and to deputise for the Manager in their absence. There is also an expectancy of being part of the on-call rota.
What we’re looking for someone with managerial experience in the Social Care sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manager with the day-to-day running of the service, deputising fully in their absence.
- Provide day-to-day supervision, support and guidance to support workers, and take part in the on-call rota.
- Contribute to person-centred support plans, risk assessments and reviews for the people we support.
- Help ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and Bridge Support’s policies.
- Support with staff rotas, inductions and ongoing training to maintain safe staffing levels.
- Build positive working relationships with families, commissioners and other professionals involved in people’s care.
