We are seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Bridge Street Vets.

Our Clinic

Located in the bustling market town of Driffield, our spacious, modern clinic is designed for comfort and efficiency. Features include:

  • Separate facilities for theatre, kennels, cattery, isolation, and dental/x-ray prep
  • Dedicated waiting areas for cats, small furries, anxious dogs, and friendly dogs
  • A beautiful park opposite and a scenic beck nearby—perfect for relaxing lunch breaks
  • A standalone retail shop for pet essentials

As a proudly cat-friendly practice holding RCVS General Practitioner Certification and cat-friendly clinic certificates, we’re passionate about supporting your career development with tailored CPD, training opportunities, and goal-setting guidance. Many of our leadership team have grown within our practice, and we encourage continuous learning and skill development.

About You

We’re seeking a motivated, compassionate, and confident RVN who prioritises patient welfare and client care. You’ll be comfortable consulting, monitoring anaesthesia, and ready to take on a variety of nursing duties including theatre, surgical prep, kennel care, consulting, and dispensary work—offering you a dynamic and varied role.

Working Hours

We are currently offering part-time or full-time working hours. Part-time hours are 30 per week, working from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Full-time hours are 40 per week, Monday to Thursday, also from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. You’ll also work one Saturday morning (9:00 am to 12:00 pm) on a rotating 1-in-4 schedule. With no out-of-hours duties and rotas planned well in advance, we provide an excellent work-life balance. Additionally, there are opportunities for overtime evening shifts to check on stable inpatients when needed.
