We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious and inspirational colleague to join our established school. The role is integral to our school and plays an important part in enhancing the opportunities for young people. The ideal candidate is passionate, motivated, and experienced in working successfully with children with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and enthuse pupils, encouraging their success and personal development.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals from the education and wider care landscape to support pupil learning.
  • Implement curriculum strategies that address the social, emotional and mental health needs of children.
  • Work closely with the Respect Collaboration Trust vision, fully embracing and embodying its philosophy of respect, collaboration and safeguarding.
  • Maintain high safeguarding standards, ensuring pupils are kept safe and protected at all times.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in working successfully with children who have social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and care teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding, including a willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide two good references.
  • Ability to engage pupils and support their success within a diverse and inclusive school environment.
