This is an exceptional entry level position within our Placement Team, working directly for Brown & Brown’s Head of Placement. The Placement Team focuses on designing and leading the negotiation and movement of risks away from non-supported or non-rated insurers across to our supported markets. You’ll be supporting them with the organisation, scheduling and deadline compliance across the placement function.
You’ll have responsibility and ownership of project management, preparation and delivery of monthly and ad hoc reports. You’ll also be reviewing and analysing key data.
The day to day:
- Prepare meeting agendas, perform research for meetings and take minutes during meetings.
- Undertake research to support the business in relation to the placement strategy.
- Review relevant data and liaise with the data providers to obtain reports in order to analyse placement activities across the businesses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless placement of insurance policies.
- Visit businesses, either with the Head of Placement or individually to discuss placement activity. This will also include follow up visits to review performance against previously agreed objectives.
- Schedule meetings and webinars for Brown & Brown teammates.
- Working closely with Placement Executives supporting them with data and ad-hoc reports.
- Liaise with businesses at all levels and Insurers.
- Review policy wordings, schedules and other documentation.
- Track progress of roll over deals and policy placement.
Job Knowledge and Skills:
This entry level position is about gaining a great understanding of our business and will lead to a career in Insurance as you will be encouraged and supported to sit your Chartered Institute of Insurance professional exams. Previous Insurance knowledge or background is not required as the role will aim to develop your knowledge and understanding of the Insurance industry.
