Our client - one of the UK’s largest independent facilities management companies is looking for a Waste Manager to join their growing regional team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a prestigious, high-profile contract in one of the busiest and most iconic areas of the capital.
As the Waste Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of a dynamic waste and environmental services contract. You will lead from the front, ensuring high standards, driving sustainability initiatives, engaging clients, and managing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate your team to exceed service expectations and contract KPIs
- Oversee all Waste & Environmental KPIs and SLAs, ensuring compliance and performance
- Collaborate with HSE teams to maintain a culture of safety and regulatory compliance
- Build strong, solution-focused relationships with clients through regular communication and joint inspections
- Deliver training, inductions, and toolbox talks to ensure team competence and engagement
- Monitor budgets and resource allocation to maintain efficiency and cost control
- Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, recommending strategic improvements
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and proactive client engagement
- Proven experience leading operational teams in facilities, waste, or environmental management
