Role Description:

As the business continues to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced TUPE Advisor to join the People Team. This is a key role supporting contract mobilisations, TUPE transfers, and union engagement across a dynamic, multi-site organisation.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional with strong TUPE experience to make a real impact. Working closely with operational leaders and union representatives, you’ll help ensure smooth people transitions during contract mobilisations and demobilisations.
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with legislation while maintaining a positive and transparent colleague experience throughout each transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
TUPE & Mobilisation
- Lead and support end-to-end TUPE in/out processes, ensuring full legal compliance.
- Coordinate employee data collection, validation, and transfer for mobilisation projects.
- Support consultation meetings with colleagues and employee representatives.
- Provide clear, practical guidance to managers and employees on TUPE rights and obligations.
Union & Employee Engagement
- Build and maintain strong, constructive relationships with trade union representatives.
- Support both individual and collective consultation processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor for colleagues, handling queries with empathy and professionalism.
Change Management & Integration
- Work with mobilisation project teams to deliver HR plans, timelines, and checklists.
- Ensure alignment of policies, procedures, and T&Cs post-transfer.
- Identify risks or potential issues early and escalate appropriately.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Support with ER issues during mobilisations (grievances, absence, contract queries).
- Promote consistency and compliance across regions and contracts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and mobilisation frameworks.
About You:
- Proven HR experience with hands-on involvement in TUPE transfers and contract mobilisations.
- In-depth understanding of UK employment law and collective consultation processes.
- Confident working with trade unions in a collaborative, professional manner.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Resilient and adaptable - thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Experience within cleaning, FM, or other large, unionised multi-site sectors is highly desirable.
