Our client, a leading facilities management company, is seeking an experienced Cleaning Manager for a high-spec corporate office in London. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who leads by example, maintains exceptionally high standards, and knows how to motivate and manage a team effectively.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll take charge of the day-to-day cleaning operations across the site, leading a team and making sure everything runs to a consistently high standard.
- Manage and support a team of cleaning staff to deliver excellent results.
- Plan daily schedules and allocate tasks effectively.
- Carry out regular quality checks and inspections.
- Maintain stock levels and oversee equipment upkeep.
- Act as the main point of contact on site.
You’ll also take ownership of the people-management side, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
- Support onboarding, training, attendance and staff performance.
- Keep staff records up to date using the Timegate time and attendance system.
- Complete weekly auditing to monitor standards and identify improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements.
- Provide occasional weekend cover when required.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a Cleaning Manager or Assistant Manager role.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good computer literacy, including confident use of Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility for occasional weekend availability.
- Subject to Enhanced DBS check.
