Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join their team in a commercially focused support role. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and auditing cost data, investigating discrepancies, and supporting contract amendments and service cost updates. This role involves regular use of spreadsheets and internal systems to analyse, cross-reference, and manage financial information. It is well suited to someone who is numerate, highly organised, and comfortable working independently while liaising with multiple stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and contractual compliance.
Summary of Main Responsibilities and Activities
- Analyse multiple cost sheets and cross-reference data to ensure accuracy
- Completing contract amendments for any changes to contracts
- Contract cost increases - i.e. London Living Wage and additional services or any changes to services
- Liaising with Managers to ensure accurate cost sheets are maintained for all contracts
- Investigating subcontractor charge discrepancies and liaising where necessary
- Entering data into the system (Templa) accurately
- Any other reasonable requests by the Head of Commercial or Finance Director
Skills Requirements
- Strong numeracy skills with a good standard of written and verbal English
- General financial, accounting and commercial understanding are a plus
- Intermediate Google Sheets/Excel spreadsheet knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and investigative approach
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work proactively, independently, and collaboratively when required
It is preferable for you to have experience in facilities management although our client is flexible on this.
