We're working with a highly regarded regional practice seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join their Wills, Trusts & Probate team. This is a strong opportunity for someone with solid technical grounding who wants to step into more complex estates work, high-net-worth clients, and meaningful progression within a supportive and well-structured environment.

The opportunity involves joining a busy and well-established Bereavement / Private Client team, handling a broad mix of Wills, Probate, and Trust matters with increasing complexity. The role offers genuine autonomy, strong support, and exposure to high-quality work, particularly in estate administration and trust structures.

What you'll be doing:

  • Advising clients and drafting Wills, LPAs, and Powers of Attorney (from straightforward to complex matters)
  • Managing probate and estate administration, including high-value and taxable estates
  • Preparing IHT400s, schedules, and advising on available inheritance tax reliefs
  • Handling intestate estates with strong knowledge of succession rules
  • Trust administration, including life interest and discretionary trusts
  • Advising on the creation, ongoing management, and winding up of trusts
  • Supporting estate planning for high-net-worth individuals
  • Working with older and vulnerable clients where appropriate
  • Supporting wider team activity
