Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their ever-expanding team.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:
- Ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and effectively by managing, directing and training warehouse employees.
- Establish, monitor and manage operational goals.
- Be fully aware of all warehouses operational systems and procedures to ensure goods are correct when receipted in, when within the warehouse and when picked for deliveries/collections.
- Investigate, resolve and/or report problems as they arise.
- Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
- Ensure they manage a team that provides customer focused service and takes proactive actions to meet the needs of customers.
- Use IT systems to manage the control and movement of goods and to plan improvements/changes required to manage the control of goods into, stored, and out of the company.
Requirements of the Warehouse Manager:
- Previous Warehouse Management or Assistant Manager experience.
- Knowledge of transport and distribution.
- Great communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
