Location: London & surrounding areas
Salary: Up to GBP46,000 per year. Call outs are one in six weeks.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Overtime is available

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Service Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. Our client's main services they provide are Access Control, Video Surveillance Systems, Audio/Video Entryphone, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Smoke Vents, Emergency Lighting, Gate & Door Automation etc.
Responsibilities of the Service Engineer:
- Corrective maintenance works - to include fault finding, troubleshooting and a first-time fix whenever possible
- Remedial and small works
- Preventative maintenance
- Client on site liaison
- Working with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre
- Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail
- Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines.
- Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training
- Participate in out-of-hours On Call Rota
Requirements of the Service Engineer:
- Good communication skills with both customers and colleagues
- Multi-disciplined Service Engineer
- Team orientated
- Strong time-management skills
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and working with networked/IP-based systems
- Proactive
- Able to run works autonomously
- The ability to supervise and motivate other engineers
- Self-motivated and willing to use initiative
