Legal Secretary Gravesend, Kent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Bridge Recruitment is working with a well-established and respected law firm in Kent that is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy Private Client department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Legal Secretary with Private Client experience to join a supportive team and provide full secretarial support to fee earners handling a varied caseload of wills, probate and estate administration matters. Key Responsibilities Providing full secretarial support to Private Client fee earners * Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence * Preparing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Codicils and Probate documentation * Assisting with estate administration and probate matters * Managing diaries, appointments and client meetings * Liaising with clients and handling Private Client enquiries * Opening files and completing AML and ID checks * Maintaining accurate file records and departmental administration * Supporting fee earners with billing, file management and matter progressionRequirements Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a Private Client department * Strong knowledge of Wills, Probate and Estate Administration * Excellent audio and copy typing skills * Experience managing diaries and client communications * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and manage a busy workloadDesirable Experience preparing estate accounts and inheritance tax forms * Knowledge of BigHand, Oyez Forms, Excel and Partner for WindowsBenefits Competitive salary dependent on experience * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Private healthcare scheme available * Workplace pension * Staff discounts on legal services * Employee referral incentives * Regular social events and company celebrations * Additional reward and recognition benefits To apply, please submit your CV to Bridge Recruitment
