Gas Engineer Location: Northfleet Salary: GBP38,334 – GBP47,522 per year, DoE Hours: Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 5pm Job type: Full-time, permanent A van and fuel card are provided! Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Gas Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. Responsibilities of the Gas Engineer: · Completion of all work tasks to the highest quality standard, providing high levels of customer service within given timescales. · Assist other trades, contractors or Client staff where required. · Liaise and build good working relationships with client\’s staff and tenants, contractors and colleagues. · Complete all documentation to required accuracy standards and return to the office in a timely manner. · Maintain all company issued equipment, including Vehicles, in good working condition. · Maintain adequate levels of standard issue stock. · Maintain a safe working environment. · Undertake other tasks as may be from time to time delegated to you by your team leader or management. Requirements of the Gas Engineer: · Hold current qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1 with at least 1 year remaining until expiration. · Demonstrate substantial experience in repair and maintenance of gas appliance (installation and use). · Demonstrate plumbing experience. · Ability to demonstrate excellent skills in your primary trade and competency in at least one other secondary trade, depending on stage of career development. · Ability and willingness to learn new skills and attend relevant training courses as and when required. · Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. · Understanding of Health and Safety requirements & CDM Regulations. · Good Team player but also able and happy to work on own initiative. · Good timekeeper and flexible approach to work. · Must be flexible and prepared to undertake a variety of tasks as directed by the Team Leaders and/or management. · Must be prepared to participate in the training of apprentices and to assist the Company with its local employment initiatives. · Must possess a driving licence and be willing to travel to and work in areas outside of Kent when required.
