Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per year

Hours: Alternate shifts are 8am-5pm, then 7am-4pm. Working 1 Saturday a month from 8am-2pm.

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Trade Counter Representative to join their ever-expanding team. Must have a good understanding of plumbing and heating products. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with trade counter sales, supporting both trade and retail customers.

Responsibilities of the Trade Counter Representative:

  • Serving customers on the trade counter and providing product advice
  • Processing sales orders, payments, and invoices
  • Picking and packing customer orders from the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Checking goods in and ensuring stock is stored correctly
  • Maintaining accurate stock control and reporting shortages
  • Keeping the warehouse and trade counter clean, organised, and safe
  • Building strong relationships with local trade customers

Requirements of the Trade Counter Representative:

  • Experience in warehouse operations or trade counter sales
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Basic IT skills for processing orders
  • Forklift licence desirable but not essential
