About the Company
Our client is a specialised glazing contractor based in Kent. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Estimator to join their team.
Role Overview
As an Estimator, you will report to the Managing Estimator and be responsible for pricing tenders up to £3M. You will use first principles analytical estimating, building rates from scratch using labour, plant, and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate tender estimates for glazing, curtain walling, and architectural aluminium projects.
- Develop rates from first principles including labour, plant, and materials.
- Collaborate with the Managing Estimator and project team to deliver competitive and compliant bids.
- Use on-screen take-off software and Causeway for quantity measurement.
