Service Engineer

Location: Lambeth

Salary: GBP35000 to GBP45000

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Plus call outs.

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Service Engineer to join their ever-expanding team.

Responsibilities of the Service Engineer:

• Working in their busy Aftercare Department, you will be conversant in Crestron systems and knowledge of other home integration systems would be advantageous.
• You should have the ability to multi-task and an ability to prioritise workload, be a team player and willing to take on additional ad-hoc duties as required to be able to deliver the amazing service that their clients deserve.
• Most of the work is based around central London, with the possibility of occasional European travel for one or two days.

Requirements of the Service Engineer:

• Experience within the AV / Home Automation industry.
• Technical knowledge of the installation of electronic audio-visual systems including Crestron.
• Knowledge of Lutron, KNX and Control4 is desirable.
• An understanding of network infrastructures and protocols.
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise work and deliver solutions to clients.
• Overtime is time and a half - roughly every 5 weeks.
• When it is your rota week your hours will be 12:00pm - 8:00pm Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Saturday and you will be on standby to deal with any call outs outside these hours.
• On the Saturday you will be required to be based at their North London Office.
