Bridge recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Project Coordinator to join their ever-expanding team.
Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:
- Support project and commercial teams with administration.
- Maintain project documents, schedules, databases, and trackers.
- Prepare project documents, job packs, RAMS, and reports.
- Update systems with project progress and key information.
- Maintain organised filing systems.
- Coordinate communication between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Assist with purchase orders, invoicing, and general administration.
- Assist with quotations for electrical distribution systems.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Prepare BOMs and pricing schedules under supervision.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations.
- Maintain quotation records and pricing databases.
- Support tender submissions and ensure timely, accurate completion.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally.
- Provide updates on quotations, schedules, and deliveries.
- Log and follow up customer requests.
- Build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Assist with technical and commercial enquiries.
- Develop knowledge of busbar, transformers, underfloor busbar, and desk power systems.
- Learn to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Support senior team members in identifying customer requirements and solutions.
- Gain experience in estimating, commercial, and project activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Update templates, product information, and commercial documents.
- Support improvements to administrative and estimating processes.
- Maintain accuracy across documentation and data entry.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Good written, verbal, and numerical skills.
- Confident with data and spreadsheets.
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive, positive, and willing to learn.
- Customer-focused and a strong team player.
Requirements of the Project Coordinator:
- Must have at least 5 years experience in similar position.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong administrative and data-entry skills.
- Interest in engineering, electrical products, construction, or project-based environments.
