Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per year

Hours: Monday Thursday, 8.30am 4.30pm. Fridays, 8am 1pm.

Job type: 18 month fixed term contract

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Industrialisation Engineer to join their ever expanding team.

Responsibilities of the Industrialisation Engineer:

  • Take part in continuous improvement activities using structured improvement methodologies, statistical improvement methods, and structured problem-solving tools.
  • Identify and deliver productivity, cost, and quality improvements across site operations.
  • Support the deployment of standardised work practices and visual management systems.
  • Facilitate structured problem-solving activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop process failure mode and effects analyses, process flow documentation, standard operating procedures, and process control plans.
  • Support tooling changes, factory material flow, process optimisation, and throughput improvements.
  • Assist the Site Lead with key performance indicator reporting, data preparation, and general administrative support as and when required.
  • Carry out additional administrative and reporting tasks as required to support site operations and planning department as resources are pulled to the Switch project.

Requirements of the Industrialisation Engineer:

  • Three to five years of experience in continuous improvement or manufacturing engineering roles.
  • Experience working in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience using structured improvement and statistical improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
