Our client is a specialist supplier of fixings and mechanical and electrical support systems for the construction industry. With over 10 years experience operating in the UK and originally established in Ireland, the business has built a strong reputation for quality and reliability.
As part of an ambitious growth strategy, they are now looking to expand their sales team with the addition of a driven and commercially minded Sales Representative.
This is a balanced sales position combining both new business development and account management (approximately 50/50 split). The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities while also maintaining and developing existing client relationships.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the construction sector
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts
- Build strong relationships with contractors, M&E subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Promote a range of fixing solutions and mechanical & electrical support systems
- Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to clients
- Track and manage sales pipeline to meet and exceed targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitors, and industry developments
Proven experience in a sales role within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of fixings and/or support systems used in construction projects (essential)
Demonstrated ability to win new business and manage key accounts
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approach
Ability to manage a territory and work independently
Full UK driving licence
Competitive basic salary (£55K-£60K) Plus car Allowance
