Location: Quality Engineer
Hours: Monday Thursday, 7am 4.30pm. Full-time, permanent
Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their ever expanding team.
Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:
- Developing and maintaining quality control procedures
- Driving continuous improvement through data collection and analysis
- Conducting audits to ensure compliance
- Goods-in inspection
- Collaborating with sales to resolve customer issues
- Implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Ensuring calibration of quality control equipment
- Carrying out internal audits and ensuring procedures meet both internal and external standards
- Reviewing and approving documentation related to manufacturing and packaging such as SOPs and RAs
- Ongoing development of the QMS in line with continuous improvement programme
- Working closely across departments to drive culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Leading or supporting customer, certification, and regulatory audits
- Taking on additional tasks needed to uphold quality and compliance across the business
Requirements of the Quality Engineer:
- Experience in manufacturing quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems
- Proficiency with quality control tools and MS Excel
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Root cause analysis expertise
- Strong organisational skills
- Leadership
- A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for continuous improvement
