Hours: Monday Thursday, 8 hours per day plus unpaid lunch. Every other Friday, 4 hours.

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Project Engineer to join their ever-expanding team.
Responsibilities of the Project Engineer:
- Responsible for ensuring allocated tasks are conducted in a safe manner in accordance with applicable standards, company procedures/policies.
- Ensuring no activity by you or any colleague is conducted that may put any person at risk, directly or indirectly or cause any damage or pollution to the environment.
- Also, allocated equipment, tools etc. are used in a safe and correct manner and not subjected to misuse or abuse.
- Execution of on time, in specification and in budget project delivery.
- Employment of the project management principles to ensure the assigned project objectives are managed appropriately.
- Design, validation and delivery of detailed engineered equipment solutions.
- Supply chain management to ensure delivery on time, in specification & in budget.
- Preparation of project documentation to achieve client approval status.
- Suitable engagement and management of internal support functions to ensure the project objectives are achieved.
- Provision of suitable and sufficient client liaison to represent the client project, and business needs.
- Execution for separate smaller project contracts as required by the business.
- Carry out any other reasonable requests from the Management Team, Directors or Shareholders.
- To continuously represent the clients brand in a positive and proactive manner yet recognising and proposing improvement opportunities where possible.
Requirements of the Project Engineer:
- Project management experience.
- Effective communication and people management skills is extremely important.
- Good understanding of risk and how to manage this effectively.
- Strong commercial awareness in order that the interests of the client, and its suppliers are adequately represented.
- Must understand, respect, and be able to manage the appropriate balance of customer expectations and business needs.
- Shall have robust organisational skills in that project objectives and priorities are managed appropriately.
- A sound knowledge of the manufacturing environment and management of its processes is important to this role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential requirements for internal and external correspondence.
