Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Electrician to join their ever-expanding team. You will be reporting to the Repairs Manager.
Responsibilities of the Electrician:
- Be part of the Repairs Team and support the team in providing a professional repairs service.
- Carry out all types of electrical work both internally and externally, including chasing, ducting, conduit, full and part electrical rewiring, electrical testing, replacement of electric fixtures, immersion heaters, showers, boilers, bonding, earthing, remove/refix access panels and ducts, etc.
- Use a range of different materials and products which are suitable for the works in hand.
- Undertake all aspects of electrical work and any additional works that may require an effective first-time fix repair.
- Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring and fixtures in accordance with the relevant codes.
- Be a troubleshooter, able to isolate faults and repair them.
- Maintain and manage an agreed range of stock, materials and equipment within the vehicle provided.
Requirements of the Electrician:
- C&G 2360 Pt1 +Pt2 (Electrician Course) (Or equivalent)
- C&G 2391 (Testing, Inspection & Certification of Electrical systems (including Domestic, Commercial & Industrial)
- 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality maintenance, repair, renewal and refurbishment works.
- Experience in the use and installation of different products and materials appropriate to the trade.
- Positive understanding and commitment to good health and safety practices.
- A focused collaborative approach to working within a team and a wider community.
- A positive approach to excellent customer service, care delivery and a commitment to quality.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
