Bridge Recruitment are extremely proud to be working with a long-term client who is seeking to recruit a Vendor Manager to join their expanding IS Department. As Vendor Manager, you will be providing the strategic bridge between the IS department and their partners who help to deliver their digital experience.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
You will be the go-to person for managing third-party supplier relationships. Your main goal would be to ensure their contracts and vendor arrangements are working effectively at all times, working with external legal support to ensure all contracts fairly reflect the needs of the client.
KEY TASKS/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Building and running processes for the management of technical vendors
- Keeping an eye on supplier performance and providing reports with clear insights
- Sorting out any vendor issues such as PO's, delivery delays or SLA slips
- Providing support to the IS Team to improve at managing vendors themselves through training and best practices
- Reviewing contracts and ensuring best value at all times
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- A solid background in tech-focused Vendor Management
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word to handle data and reporting requirements
- Ability to break down complex problems and present solutions simply and effectively
- Comfortable working with senior leaders and different teams across the business
