We're recruiting for an experienced Print Estimator to join a successful and expanding print manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong commercial mindset and a background in print estimating to become part of a busy, collaborative team supporting a diverse portfolio of clients.

The Opportunity

As a Print Estimator, you'll be responsible for producing accurate costings across a variety of print and production projects. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you'll ensure quotations are commercially competitive, technically accurate, and delivered within agreed timescales. This role would suit someone who enjoys analysing project requirements, solving costing challenges, and contributing to the commercial success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed quotations for a wide range of print and production projects.
  • Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to understand customer specifications and project requirements.
  • Calculate material, labour, logistics and production costs to create accurate estimates.
  • Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing to ensure the most competitive solution.
  • Support the preparation of quotations for new business opportunities, tenders and existing customer projects.
  • Revise estimates when project specifications or production requirements change.
  • Maintain accurate records of all quotations and supporting calculations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve margins and reduce production costs where appropriate.
  • Ensure all estimates are commercially viable while meeting customer expectations.

  • Previous experience in an estimating role within the print industry.
  • Good understanding of print production processes and manufacturing costs.
  • Experience using a Print MIS system.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
