Service Engineer Location: London Salary: £38,000 – £41,000 per year Hours: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm. Plus overtime and call outs. Job type: Full-time, permanent A van and fuel card are provided! Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for an experienced Service Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. Our client’s main services are; Access Control, Video Surveillance Systems, Audio/Video Entryphone, Intruder Alarms, IP Based Systems, Fire Alarms, Smoke Vents, Emergency Lighting, Gate Automation and Door Automation. Majority of the sites are within the M25 area. Responsibilities of the Service Engineer: Interfacing with senior departmental management to provide technical expertise and guidance for the department Liaising with Projects Department for handover of newly installed systems Mentorship and guidance for junior engineers and apprentices To take lead for client on-site liaison and contractual meetings for key clients Client system training Corrective maintenance works – to include fault finding, troubleshooting and a first-time fix whenever possible Remedial and small works Preventative maintenance Working with monitored systems in liaison with our client’s Alarm Receiving Centre Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines. Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training Requirements of the Service Engineer: Must have at least 5 years industry experience. Good communication skills with both customers and colleagues Confident user of Microsoft Office and working with networked/IP-based systems The ability to supervise and motivate other engineers Self-motivated and willing to use initiative Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative Full UK Driving Licence.
