Bridge Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established blue-chip organisation based in SE London for the recruitment of an Account Director to join their expanding team. The Account Director is a senior, client facing leadership role responsible for transforming key client relationships from traditional supplier arrangements into trusted strategic partnerships. The role is centred on a proactive, customer centric approach, with a strong emphasis on service delivery excellence, service development, and continuous improvement.
You will act as the primary champion of our clients businesses internally and externally, leveraging deep commercial and operational insight to align our solutions with client goals and objectives. Through senior stakeholder engagement, innovative contract governance, and inspirational team leadership, the role will drive sustainable value for both the client and the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead senior level client relationships, engaging credibly always with a proactive agenda.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's business strategy, operating model, challenges, and growth ambitions.
- Align service delivery, development initiatives, and commercial strategies to clearly defined client goals and outcomes.
- Proactively promote our products, services, and innovation to deliver measurable client value.
- Translate client insight into actionable opportunities for service improvement, growth, and development.
- Lead the development of innovative solutions that improve client outcomes, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
- Lead, motivate, and energise account teams to deliver outstanding service and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
- Proven track record in Account Leadership, Service Delivery and Development within complex environments.
- Demonstrable experience managing and influencing senior client stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing contracts, governance structures, and financial performance.
- Experience leading, developing, and inspiring multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to translate client strategy into practical, value driven solutions.
- Experience in transforming client relationships from supplier to partnership models.
- Track record of delivering innovation and continuous improvement within contracted service environments.
Location: SE London Hybrid working at client site when required
