Our client is seeking a Health and Safety officer to work across two sites in the Surrey area on a full-time basis, 52 weeks a year and 37 hours per week. Available for immediate start following a successful interview.
Responsibilities
- Produce, review and update health and safety, fire safety and related policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture across both campuses.
- Carry out regular inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance with legislation and safety standards.
- Provide health and safety advice and training to staff, students and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH qualification or other relevant recognised health and safety qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety, and fire safety legislation.
- Experience carrying out inspections and risk assessments.
- Communicate effectively among students, staff and stakeholders.
- Organised and capable of managing priorities between two campuses.
