Full-time/Permanent - Mon to Fri 8am - 5pm. We are working alongside a reputable Heating Contractor, in the search for an experienced Accounts Assistant. This newly created position will provide wide-ranging support across the finance function, with a strong focus on credit control. Designed to offer exposure to all areas of finance, the role is ideal for a motivated individual with 2-3 years' experience in an accounts or finance role, looking to build on their existing skills and progress their career.

Responsibilities

  • Credit Control
  • Proactively contact customers via phone and email to chase overdue payments
  • Resolve payment queries and maintain accurate customer account records
  • Accounts Payable Support
  • Assist with supplier and employee expense payments
  • Upload invoices to customer systems and verify accuracy
  • Cash familiarity with functions such as VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables is advantageous
  • Experience working with finance systems or ERP platforms
