Electrical Technician

My client is currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician. The role offers a 4 day working week with overtime paid for any additional hours worked, 5 weeks holiday, life insurance and employee funded private healthcare. The role offers a 2 week shift pattern alternating between Tuesday – Friday and Monday – Thursday. Standard hours are 07:30 – 17:30 with a 16:30 finish on the fourth day. Due to the location, a driving license and your own transport will be required. Duties include: Assemble electronic/electrical subassemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings or verbal instructions and following works order instructions to ISO9001 standards. Wire and solder wiring harness and cable assemblies, PC boards, SMT, transformer assemblies, control consoles, connectors, etc. Perform limited troubleshooting and testing of assemblies. Perform limited computer controlled operations. Ensures assembly/sub-assembly build times are met to maintain department efficiency target of 100%. Carry out job tasks safely using good working practices. Carry out all assembly work to the required department quality standards.
