Our longstanding client is looking for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal, ideally with real estate finance experience, to join their dynamic commercial property team.
The property team acts on behalf of a range of clients, including property development and investment companies, banks and other financial institutions.
- Liaising with accounts team in relation to incoming/outgoing funds, client/office account ledgers and assisting with billing process.
- Preparing suites of banking documentation including legal charges, guarantees, directors’ certificates and corporate authorisations using pre-approved templates.
- Maintaining good file management, electronic storage, archiving and filing, including the creation and ongoing administration of data rooms.
Applicants will need experience in most of the above and will probably be working as a Real Estate Paralegal in an established firm. The role might also suit an experienced legal secretary, who is looking to become more involved with clients on the commercial property side. The role is ideally full-time and office based in Hertfordshire, though the firm also has an office in London and there may be some flexibility on location. There may also be the opportunity to work part-time, should any exceptional candidate require it, but this would be a minimum of 4 days a week.
In addition, flexible working is also a possibility. Again, this is likely to represent perhaps one day working from home. Broadly speaking it's important that the post holder is in the office for the majority of the working week and until 5pm, especially on Fridays, when many transactions are concluded.
