Are you a qualified nurse looking for a new senior clinical lead role in a caring and supportive environment where you can lead and develop an amazing care team? You will become an integral part of our management team when you join our outstanding rated Bridge House Care Home in Abingdon as our Clinical Lead. You will work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the home is run to the highest standards of professional and clinical practice.

You must be a qualified nurse with excellent clinical experience and competent in catheterisation, venepuncture, syringe driver and wound management.

About the role:

Your role as our Clinical Lead will involve taking on the responsibility for the effective operation and delivery of the home's business plan alongside the Home Manager. You will have joint responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home to exceed CQC standards. You will recruit, induct, appraise and develop the care team to ensure that they are fully trained and able to deliver the best possible care to our residents.

Here are some other important things you need to know:

  • You will have sound working knowledge of CQC, Safeguarding and Quality monitoring.
  • You will ensure that the daily staff rota is always in place to minimize agency use.
  • Ensure that all nursing team members are competent in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities and carry out regular checks as required, including spot checks on both day and night teams.
