We are seeking a dedicated housekeeper and cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer care at our luxury holiday cottages.

Duties:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas regularly.
  • Handle specialised cleaning tasks including window washing and sofa protection.
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll to ensure facilities are fully equipped.
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management promptly.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour while interacting with clients or visitors.

Skills:

  • Previous experience in cleaning is preferred; holiday cottage or hotel experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
