Bridge education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a well‑maintained school site in Preston supporting the day‑to‑day running of the premises.
This is a part‑time, long‑term position, responsible for ensuring the school environment is safe, secure and well‑presented for pupils, staff and visitors.

- School Caretaker role requirements
- Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role
- Basic DIY and maintenance skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Reliable and proactive approach

- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
- Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises
- Conduct regular health and safety checks
- Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas Liaise with contractors and external providers where required
- Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school site
