Bridge Clinic London is a private fertility clinic licensed by the HFEA. We support patients through one of the most important journeys of their lives, and behind every safe, smooth day at the clinic is a facilities and operations function that simply has to work.

This is the role that keeps the clinic running. You will own the day-to-day operation of our premises, manage our vendors, suppliers, and contractors, look after our office and laboratory equipment, and provide hands-on administrative and operational support to the wider clinic team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Run planned and reactive maintenance across the building, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Manage all supplier and contractor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements, and keep our supplier records in order.
  • Oversee the servicing, repair, and replacement of office and laboratory equipment, maintaining the asset register and coordinating servicing and calibration schedules with the Laboratory Manager.
  • Support the laboratory's environmental requirements, including air handling, temperature monitoring, and cryostorage infrastructure.
  • Provide administrative and office support to the clinic team, including procurement of supplies and consumables and general operational coordination.
  • Lead day-to-day health and safety: risk assessments, fire safety, COSHH, legionella, statutory testing, and clinical waste.
  • Maintain business continuity plans for critical systems and support our HFEA and CQC compliance on premises and equipment.
  • Manage the facilities budget and report regularly on compliance, supplier performance, and risk.

About you

Essential:

  • Facilities or operations management experience in a healthcare, clinical, laboratory, or similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong track record managing vendors, suppliers, and contractors, including contracts and SLAs.
  • Experience coordinating equipment servicing, maintenance, and asset records.
  • Hands-on maintenance experience and solid working knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, comfortable switching between practical tasks and office support.
  • Budget and project management experience and calm judgement under pressure.
  • IOSH Managing Safely, or willingness to complete during probation.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a fertility clinic, hospital, or other CQC or HFEA regulated setting.
  • NEBOSH, an engineering or facilities management background, or IWFM membership.
  • Experience with cryogenic storage, medical gases, controlled lab environments, or legionella management.
