Background Information: We are Bridge Catering Equipment and as a commercial catering equipment supplier, we have over twenty five years experience in the design and manufacture of top quality stainless steel equipment together with associated air control systems for commercial kitchens, manufactured to exacting standards. We manufacture a wide range of fabrication equipment for kitchens, bar areas and front of house, including air extraction and input systems, all built to your specification. A highly respected commercial kitchen equipment supplier, we pride ourselves on working closely with our customers, providing a complete service offering advice on design and specification, from kitchen workflow considerations to current health and safety issues. We ensure it meets with your clients requirements and ultimately manufacture the quality products your customers/clients require to meet all their practical needs within the kitchen environment.
Purpose of Job: This role is to provide a high standard of Welding and Fabricating stainless steel products.
Main Duties:
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Be able to TIG weld.
- General Fabrication of stainless steel items such as tables, benches, cabinets using appropriate equipment and processes.
- Capable with other manufacturing equipment such as a pillar drill, band saw and other power tools.
- Good communication skills on the shop floor.
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure but still work to high standard.
- Maintaining a clean and organised department.
- Work in accordance with company processes and procedures.
- Working to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Meeting production demands and targets.
- Working with various power tools.
- Ensuring quality and high standards are constantly met.
- Good visual inspection skills, with the ability to read engineering drawings is desirable.
- Hand Finish components using a grinder, files and emery paper.
- Assemble component parts prior to subsequent operations.
- Ensure assigned work is understood prior to commencing.
- Carry out any lawful instruction by a member of the Management team.

- Comply with site Health & Safety policies and processes.
- Complete housekeeping duties in assigned areas on a daily basis / when required.
- Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications.
