About the role:
Chipping Ongar Primary School is a member of Bridge Academy Trust which educates children aged 4‑11 years. We are opening a new enhanced provision for children with severe learning difficulties in our Maple Classroom. We would like to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to be part of this new and vital team. You will need to be committed to making a difference and have the enthusiasm to improve pupil engagement and communication for children who may find this challenging.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- The experience and enthusiasm to work as part of a team in a supportive environment as a Learning Support Assistant for SLD pupils.
- Experience working across the primary range and experience of working with children with additional needs.
- Have an interest in working with children and making a difference.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share in the commitment. Appointments will be subject to DBS clearance and satisfactory references. If successful, an enhanced DBS check would be sought.
