Who are we looking for? A highly organised, discreet and proactive Executive Assistant to provide professional support to five Board Directors, with experience of working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. You will bring an understanding of the role being positioned as a business enabler and hands‑on experience of making a Board of Directors more efficient through your ways of working. The successful candidate will be a multitasker who can anticipate needs, handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality, and balance competing priorities across multiple executives.
What you’ll be doing: This role is dedicated to ensuring the Board operates efficiently, with seamless coordination of schedules, meetings, communications and strategic priorities.
- Manage complex calendars for five Board Directors, ensuring optimal use of their time.
- Schedule and coordinate Board and leadership meetings, off‑site and key events.
- Prepare, collate and distribute meeting agendas, board packs and briefing materials.
- Take accurate minutes and track action items to completion.
- Act as a central point of contact between the Board, Senior Leadership and external stakeholders.
- Manage high‑volume email correspondence on behalf of Directors, prioritising and flagging urgent matters.
- Arrange national and international travel, accommodation and itineraries.
- Process expenses promptly and accurately.
- Support Directors with preparation of presentations, reports and proposals.
- Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives involving multiple departments.
- Handle sensitive business, financial, and personnel information with absolute discretion.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and represent the Board with professionalism at all times.
- Be an advocate for the Bridewell values.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant role supporting C‑Suite/Board Directors.
- Exceptional diary management, prioritisation and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and virtual meeting tools.
- Proven ability to manage highly confidential matters.
- Able to remain calm and effective in high‑pressure, rapidly changing environments.
- Skilled relationship builder.
- Proactive problem solver who anticipates needs rather than reacts to them.
