Bridebook is a SaaS and Marketplace scaleâup business revolutionising the wedding industry. We are proud to be the UK's number one wedding planning app and the ONLY global provider! Our mission is to make the wedding planning journey as happy as possible for engaged couples everywhere!
With over 90% of the world's 7.5bn population expected to get married in their lifetime, the wedding industry is massive. It is 50% larger than the global taxi and food delivery markets combined, yet it sadly lags in digitalisation and lacks solutions for the modernâday needs of both couples and businesses.
Our innovative platform is designed to make wedding planning effortless and stressâfree. From personalised wedding checklists, budget management tools, a vast selection of venues and suppliers, and endless inspiration â you can access it all at your fingertips, on your mobile device! After recently becoming the first app of its kind to launch globally, Bridebook now enables couples to plan destination weddings anywhere in the world. This exciting expansion makes it a truly fantastic time to join us on our journey!
Our team is made up of talented creative, analytical, and techâfocused minds! We have collaborated with some fantastic partners including the Natural History Museum, Hilton, the Ritz, Etsy and Jimmy Choo, and have been featured 12 times on the App Store as well as been rated the number 1 app by Apple. Our investors are well known for supporting some previous successful unicorns such as Airbnb, Pinterest, Skyscanner and Tesla.
We are looking for a Consumer Insights Specialist to transform research and raw data into strategic insights that shape Bridebook's decisions, driving measurable improvements for both Couples and Wedding Service Providers. You will be a trusted, highly autonomous expert who influences product, marketing, and business strategy through evidenceâbased, compelling storytelling. You will holistically own how customers travel through our platform, ensuring every strategic decision is grounded in a deep understanding of their journey.
This opportunity is available as a Full Time or 4 Day Week.
Specific responsibilities:- Leading insight generation: Independently design and execute the full research lifecycle from initial scope to final deliveryâusing surveys, interviews, and analytics to understand customer needs and behaviours.
- Translating insights into action: Combine quantitative and qualitative data to synthesize complex findings into clear, compelling narratives for crossâfunctional teams and senior leaders, directly influencing the product roadmap and operational strategy.
- Driving strategic alignment: Act as a critical bridge between data and strategy, partnering with Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to ensure decisions are grounded in evidence. You will maintain a living library of actionable insights to guide planning and prioritisation.
- Championing innovation: Evaluate and implement new methodologies and tools to elevate Bridebook's research capability, establishing best practices in design, analysis, and storytelling in a scrappy, fastâpaced environment.
- Ensuring ethical practices: Maintain high standards of data accuracy, privacy, and compliance across all research, managing consent and confidentiality responsibly.
- Has substantial experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, or a similar role, preferably within a digital app or consumerâfocused tech platform.
- Has proven experience in managing endâtoâend research projects, including defining timelines, budgets, and deliverables. This includes the ability to pull raw data and perform strong manual data skills (e.g., from Typeform) rather than relying solely on advanced paid platforms.
- Is expert at conducting both qualitative and quantitative research projects, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and analysis of A/B testing results.
- Is proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with handsâon experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Mixpanel) and statistical analysis tools (Google Sheets & Excel).
- Is customerâcentric and demonstrates a strong understanding of customer journey mapping and user experience research.
- Is a multifaceted professional, capable of doing more than just research â including project management and strategic stakeholder engagement.
- Has a proven track record of effective stakeholder management and collaboration, specifically working crossâfunctionally with Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams and presenting complex findings to influence strategic decisions.
