Join us as a Consumer Insights Specialist at Bridebook – the UK's No.1 wedding planning app.
We’re looking for a Consumer Insights Specialist to transform research and raw data into strategic insights that shape Bridebook’s decisions, driving measurable improvements for both Couples and Wedding Service Providers. You will be a trusted, highly autonomous expert who influences product, marketing, and business strategy through evidence-based, compelling storytelling. You will holistically own how customers travel through our platform, ensuring every strategic decision is grounded in a deep understanding of their journey.
Responsibilities
- Leading insight generation: Independently design and execute the full research lifecycle from initial scope to final delivery - using surveys, interviews, and analytics to understand customer needs and behaviours.
- Translating insights into action: Combine quantitative and qualitative data to synthesize complex findings into clear, compelling narratives for cross-functional teams and senior leaders, directly influencing the product roadmap and operational strategy.
- Driving strategic alignment: Act as a critical bridge between data and strategy, partnering with Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to ensure decisions are grounded in evidence. You will maintain a living library of actionable insights to guide planning and prioritisation.
- Championing innovation: Evaluate and implement new methodologies and tools to elevate Bridebook’s research capability, establishing best practices in design, analysis, and storytelling in a scrappy, fast-paced environment.
- Ensuring ethical practices: Maintain high standards of data accuracy, privacy, and compliance across all research, managing consent and confidentiality responsibly.
Qualifications
- Has substantial experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, or a similar role, preferably within a digital app or consumer-focused tech platform.
- Has proven experience in managing end-to-end research projects, including defining timelines, budgets, and deliverables. This includes the ability to pull raw data and perform strong manual data skills (e.g., from Typeform) rather than relying solely on advanced paid platforms.
- Is expert at conducting both qualitative and quantitative research projects, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and analysis of A/B testing results.
- Is proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with hands-on experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Mixpanel) and statistical analysis tools (Google Sheets & Excel).
- Is customer-centric and demonstrates a strong understanding of customer journey mapping and user experience research.
- Is a multifaceted professional, capable of doing more than just research – including project management and strategic stakeholder engagement.
- Has a proven track record of effective stakeholder management and collaboration, specifically working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams and presenting complex findings to influence strategic decisions.
Benefits
- 25 days of annual leave, with an extra day every year after three years (up to 30 days)
- Hybrid Working, we’d love to see you in twice a week, but you are free to come in more often if you’d like
- £500 per year Learning and Development budget
- Enhanced Family-Friendly Policies
- Cycle to Work Scheme
- One month fully paid Sabbatical Leave after five years in BB
- 2 weeks Working From Home Near Home per year
- Wedding Leave (5 days paid)
- Half-Day Wedding Anniversary Leave
- An accessible, beautiful and dog-friendly office, with weekly breakfasts, communal lunches, alongside free snacks and more
