Role Summary
The Founder's Associate works directly with the CEO to help drive execution across the company's most important operational and strategic priorities. This role is designed for someone with a strong academic foundation and high technical literacy who can reason through complex problems, impose structure on ambiguity, and execute with precision.
You will be expected to understand how the business actually works, not just coordinate tasks. That includes engaging with technical systems, financial data, and operational tooling at a level deep enough to identify what is broken and how to fix it.
What You'll Do
- Partner closely with the CEO on high-impact operational and strategic initiatives.
- Rapidly understand complex systems across product, sales, finance, and operations.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks before they become visible problems.
- Break down poorly defined problems and drive them to resolution.
- Move between analytical work, stakeholder coordination, and hands-on execution.
- Produce clear documentation, analysis, and recommendations for leadership.
- Work comfortably with engineers, data, and internal tooling, even when requirements are not fully specified.
Examples of the Kind of Work You Might Own
- Analyzing and improving internal workflows that span technical and commercial systems.
- Supporting structural or legal changes by coordinating inputs from multiple functions.
- Evaluating tools, vendors, or system changes with a critical, analytical lens.
- Helping establish operational and financial reporting where none exists.
- Diagnosing why a process is failing and designing a better one.
What We're Looking For
- Strong academic background with evidence of rigorous analytical training.
- Technically literate and comfortable reasoning about systems, data flows, and tooling.
- Able to engage credibly with engineers and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- High ownership, strong judgment, and bias toward action.
- Structured thinker who can communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Motivated by learning and building, not just execution.
