Brick Fabrication Ltd is a leading manufacturer of pre fabricated products for the house building industry throughout the UK. The company operates from a 20,000 sq.ft. factory in South Wales and a production facility in Stoke.
The Position
Provide a professional delivery and collection service to construction sites in the south west and south east of England and Wales. The lorry is a flatbed vehicle for the distribution of pre fabricated building products to house building and construction sites and the collection of brick for return to the factory.
Responsibilities
- Plan and drive routes efficiently, ensuring accuracy and safety in delivering pre fabricated building products.
- Manage weight limits and lift requirements, adhere to all road transport regulations, and maintain meticulous delivery and return records.
- Demonstrate a logical and measured approach to route planning, an appetite for learning new skills and techniques, and a professional attitude while working independently with minimum supervision.
Requirements
- Experienced multi‑drop HGV Class 2 lorry driver, good knowledge of an area within 100 miles of the Pontypool branch.
- Digital Tacho Card holder.
- FLT Licence.
- Excellent employment history and references.
- Good health and reliability.
- Willingness to undertake full product–specific training and ongoing skills improvement.
- Flexibility to assist in the factory when driving is not available.
Employment Type
This is a permanent position; however a three month fixed contract will be offered in the first instance. The working week normally Monday to Friday.
