Alfiam Building Supplies, part of the BRCK Group plc, is looking for an Internal Salesperson to join our busy team. This is a great opportunity for a driven person who collaborates well with a range of people and is keen to learn. This may be your first role in sales, or you are looking to take the next step in your career in the sales and building supplies industry. Our extensive product range includes bricks, cladding, blocks, timber and sheet materials, flooring, landscaping products, and a wide selection of builders materials and supplies.
About the Role
As an Internal Salesperson, you will actively participate in the sales of timber and building products whilst supporting the external sales manager to service an established customer base as well as converting prospective accounts into trading customers. We are looking for the right attitude, a positive approach and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and build new accounts.
- Maintain, manage and develop existing accounts.
- Build positive, constructive relationships with customers and suppliers, communicating effectively and promptly.
- Serve customers at the sales counter in a friendly, professional and helpful manner, building face-to-face relationships with customers.
- Support stock control and replenishment.
- Respond to all customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Embrace training and development in sales and product knowledge.
- Learn about building materials, products and services so you can provide accurate advice.
- Maintain good customer records and follow company procedures.
- Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
