We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in retail or sales management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee sales operations, develop strategic initiatives, and foster a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. Technical Knowledge:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in the specification and supply of a variety of building faade products.
  • A competent level of understanding of construction methods and processes.
  • An established customer base is preferable.

Duties:

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to achieve organisational targets and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market share and increase revenue.
  • Manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
  • Oversee merchandising activities to ensure product presentation aligns with brand standards.
  • Organise training programmes for staff to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to plan promotional campaigns and events.
  • Ensure excellent phone etiquette and professional communication at all times.
  • Maintain organised records of sales activities, customer interactions, and administrative documentation.
  • Manage inventory levels in collaboration with stock control teams to optimise stock availability.

Experience:

  • Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, ideally in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrable success in managing teams, with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience in merchandising, administrative tasks, and utilisation of CRM systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
  • Prior experience in sales management roles involving client negotiations and contract management.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
  • Familiarity with retail operations, stock control, and organisational procedures is desirable.
