Yard Operative / Van Driver

Are you looking for a stable and rewarding job as a Yard Operative/Van Driver? Look no further! We are MGF – a national Shoring Solutions, Lifting & Safety and Structural Support provider. We’re growing fast and need reliable yard operatives like you to help us succeed.
We specialise in designing, manufacturing, hiring and selling temporary works solutions. At MGF, we manufacture our equipment, operate our own transport fleet and have an in‑house engineering team who produce design solutions to meet customers’ requirements.
With 13 depots nationwide and over 460 passionate members of our team, we’re expanding. Each team member plays a crucial role in this success, and we need your help as a Yard Operative / Van Driver to continue delivering exceptional results.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Preparing equipment (assembling, sorting and testing)
- Assisting in loading/unloading of Company vehicles
- Sorting, identifying and recording damages
- Racking and stacking equipment
- Driving Fork Lift Trucks (training provided)
- Testing hydraulic equipment (training provided)
- Driving the Company transit and small connect vans for ad hoc and small deliveries
To Achieve This, You Will Need
- Experience within a busy yard environment
- Good appreciation of Health & Safety
- Experience working in a team environment
- FLT experience (Desirable)
- Driving Licence
