Our goal is simple. To become known as the best student lettings company in the UK offering luxury student accommodation at affordable prices. We may only be coming up to 5 years old as a company, but have already grown to over 250 properties in Liverpool, over 120 properties in Lincoln and are now expanding in Swansea with the aim to be at over 150 properties within the next two years. The way we achieve that, is by having the best people in the best positions and focusing on offering a first class service.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Handyperson, based in Swansea. The General Handyperson will perform a variety of property maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, routine inspections, general upkeep, and assisting with small renovations. Responsibilities will also involve ensuring the safety and cleanliness of properties, managing tools and materials, and identifying and resolving maintenance issues promptly. Candidates should be effective problem-solvers who can work independently and execute tasks with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- General maintenance and repair skills, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting
- Knowledge of proper tool usage and safety practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Attention to detail for inspecting properties and identifying potential issues
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and occupants
- Physical ability to perform hands-on tasks and carry equipment as needed
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field is preferred
