*PROPERTY MANAGER
*We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to join our team based in London Ontario.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position will be responsible for a portfolio of properties.
We are looking for a team orientated candidate with excellent leadership skills who has a passion for delivering superior service.
- *RESPONSIBILITES
- Training and supervision of all building management site staff. Coach and train staff.
- Complete property inspections to ensure superior standards are met.
- Correspond and meet with Tenants to resolve concerns and issues.
- Ensure compliance of Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health & Safety, TSSA, Fire & Building Codes
- Scope all units at turnover.
- Review and coordinate all repairs in relation to the turnover of units.
- Supervision of contractors and trades working on site.
- Obtain quotes for all contract and capital work.
- Must have good knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA)
- Attend and participate in Landlord Tenant Board hearings.
- Service and preparation of legal documents as defined by the RTA.
- Review/approve and code all invoices for property expenses
- Assist with Budget preparation both operating and capital
- Monthly analysis of financial statements to maintain budgeted expectations.
- Monitor vacancy and implement leasing programs to minimize.
- Required to handle emergency calls outside normal business hours.
- *REQUIREMENTS *
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Residential Property Management working in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong leadership and staff supervisory experience
- Superior organizational skills and able to work with limited supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office. Experience in Yardi is preferred.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
