Join Our Family Law Team
BRGP is looking for a compassionate and motivated Family Lawyer to join our growing Family Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer or experienced Family Fee Earner who is passionate about helping clients through some of the most important and challenging periods of their lives.
You will manage a varied caseload of private family matters while working within a supportive and collaborative team that values client care, professional development and work-life balance.
The Role
You will advise and represent clients on a range of private family matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy matters
- Private children arrangements
- Cohabitation disputes
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Domestic abuse and injunction applications
You will be responsible for progressing matters from instruction to conclusion, providing clear, practical and empathetic advice throughout.
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from candidates who have:
- Qualified Solicitor, CILEX qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience managing a private family law caseload
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service
- Advocacy experience and Resolution membership would be advantageous but are not essential.
