We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our in‑house legal team.
The position is based in London and involves close collaboration with colleagues in multiple jurisdictions, including regular interaction with BRG's legal teams in London and the United States.
It is a fast‑paced, full‑time, permanent role that requires high proactivity, communication skills, discretion, and professionalism.
- Job Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and coordinate changes to contracts (including engagement letters, non‑disclosure agreements, independent contractor agreements, and vendor agreements), escalating issues where appropriate and exercising sound judgment in responding to routine comments and revisions.
- Take ownership of day‑to‑day legal and administrative matters, proactively identifying issues, proposing solutions and driving tasks through to completion.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Legal Department, including document management, filing, correspondence, document execution, maintenance of executed agreements, and other general administrative tasks as required.
- Support internal compliance, conflicts, engagement and onboarding processes as required.
- Manage diaries, meetings and travel arrangements, and prepare and process expense reports, to maximize coordination, efficiency, and effective use of time.
- Perform other tasks as required by the Legal Department from time to time.
- Required Experience and Skills
- Experience in legal services, professional services (consulting), and/or an in‑house legal setting is beneficial but not essential.
Proven experience working in an administration role, with regular interaction with clients, is a requirement.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail even during busy periods.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize competing demands, and remain effective in a fast‑paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Ability to deal tactfully, courteously and professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and preserve its confidentiality.
- Advanced computer skills: proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
