We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our evolving Supply Chain team based in central Eastbourne. This is an exciting time to join the team with many new projects on the horizon, this opportunity will provide a varied and stimulating workload that supports our national branch network of over 250 Decorator Centres across the UK. This can be a hybrid role but will require you to attend at least two days per week at our Head Office in Eastbourne as well as some travel to other sites.
As part of the Brewers Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for supporting with all aspects of supply chain management across a designated area by delivering high-quality analysis, reporting, and insights to drive business performance. You will proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement across supply chain processes, stock management, fulfilment, availability, and accuracy-ultimately contributing to enhanced efficiency and profitability.

What does the role of Supply Chain Analyst involve?
- Ensuring optimal stock levels across branches and distribution centres to meet customer demand and improve on-shelf availability
- Collaborating with commercial teams on demand forecasting and manage supply planning, including vendor coordination and purchase order processing
- Overseeing supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs, assess new suppliers, and ensure compliance with lead times and delivery standards
- Executing commercial strategies, support promotions, and align stock availability with category trading plans to drive sales and profitability
- Managing new product introductions, phase out discontinued items, and reduce excess stock to optimize revenue and inventory investment
- Reviewing sourcing strategies, support bulk purchase processes, and ensure cost-effective stock routing
- Generating timely stock reports using available tools to support decision-making and performance tracking
- Contributing to supply chain projects, support stocktake processes and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Who We Are Looking For To Join The Team
- Previous experience in a retail supply chain role with a strong focus on data
- Exposure to ERP systems and in particular working with product data and sales analysis
- Developed interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business
- Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing
- High levels of attention to detail
- Experience of using Microsoft Office to an advanced level β specifically Excel
- Embraces technology and supports change within the business
- Understands the importance of working in a team and positively contributes towards a team environment
- Analytical and logical approach to problem solving; solution focused
- Ability to work methodically through tasks under own direction and to take responsibility for decisions
